Mrs. Clara Virginia Jenkins, 92, a former resident of Etlan, died Thursday, June 6 at Woodbridge Nursing Center.
Mrs. Jenkins was a native of the Nethers area. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church at Nethers.
She is survived by a daughter, Maude Virginia Cave of Occoquan; three sons, Walter H. Jenkins of Madison, Lloyd A. Jenkins of Nokesville and Willard A. Jenkins of Fairfax; 28 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildiren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday at Etlan United Methodist Church by the Rev. James Taylor. Burial was in Etlan Cemetery.
Richard West
RixeyviUe Resident
Richard Lee West, age 24, died on Wednesday, June 5 at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper.
A native of Rockbridge County, he was the son of William A. West of Rixeyville. He was a painter for Everett Lee Turner.
In addition to his father, survivors include his wife, Mrs. Barbara M. West of RixeyviUe; three children, Crystal Lee West, Jackie Marie West and Vanessa Lee Milbum, aU of RixeyviUe.
Other survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Ann Prescock of West Virginia, Mrs. Dolly Little of Culpeper, Miss Deborah Hay West of Jeffersonton, Mrs. Betty Jo Putnam of Warrenton and Miss Virginia Sue West of Jeffersonton and four brothers, WUUam A. West, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Tommy West of New York, Michael West of Culpeper and BiUy Joe West of Jeffersonton.
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday at HiUcrest Memory Gardens at Jeffersonton.
