Continuing with more Memorial Day activities, we have Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Nuefeld of Patterson, New Jersey, spending the weekend at Meadowood with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Robson. On Monday the Robsons entertained at a barbeque dinner party, having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. Ted Shyan of Gordonsville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Huffman of Ruckersville and Mr. and Mrs. David Konick and sons, Nickie and Bryan, of Castleton.
Last Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Robson were guests of Brig. General and Mrs. Bernard Weiss at Andrews Air Force Base and they were privileged to travel on Vice President Bush’s plane as they toured the base.
Mrs. Carroll Petty and her mother, Mrs. Helen Baumgardner of Front Royal, were guests Friday of Mrs. Ruth Lillard.
Gail Filyo and Marge Ryan of Wheaton, Md., were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie A. Wood, Sr., at Dun-Lookin.
Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville and Holtzman Frazier of Fredericksburg visited their father, F. R. Frazier, Sr., during the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Bemie Jenkins and Randy entertained last Monday in honor of Mrs. Jenkins’ mother, Mrs. Clarence W. Jenkins, on her 71st birthday. In addition to Mr. Jenkins, others present were Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Parvin, Tray and Bryan of Madison, Timmy Norman of Woodville, Ms. Charlotte Gaines and sons, Tommy and Stewart.
Miss Claire O’Meara of Washington, D. C., spent the weekend here with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John O’Meara and family.
Mrs. Joe Hawkins and Ms. Ruth Lillard were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Marshall in Culpeper.
