The report submitted by the elementary school screening committee was questioned in some areas by board members since no children in kindergarten through the fifth grade were identified for the program. Rowe said that only children who were nominated were considered, and that children from kindergarten through the fourth grade were not identified in specific academic ability due to lack of data.
