Supervisors
set meeting
for Monday
Rappahannock County Supervisors are scheduled to hold their regular monthly meeting Monday at 10 a.m. in the courthouse.
The meeting, usually held on the first Monday of each month, was delayed one week this month due to the Labor Day holiday.
A routine agenda is anticipated.
The supervisors are expected to be introduced to Elizabeth Stout, a home extension agent who starts this month.
Also on the agenda is a report from Del Price of a solids waste management committee. Price said last month that the committee would be prepared to make a recommendation concerning the disposal of solid .waste in Rappahannock County. The county’s current landfill is expected to be filled by early next spring.
Also expected are presentations by Dr. John Einarson of the health department, Wayne Cilimberg of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission and Ron Pier Leonardi of Paramount Pest Control.
Supervisors are also expected to get an update of the insurance coverage which was approved at their Aug. 16 meeting.
