Dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. Frances Eubank were Betty Menefee and Kenny Partlow of Warrenton, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Smoot and daughter, Crystal, of Front Royal, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hudson of Sperry ville.
Glenn Updike, Lee, John and Jennifer of Newsoms spent Sunday and Monday here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Updike, and other relatives in the area.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Perry had as their weekend guests their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kerns and children, Karen and Bob, and a friend of Bob’s from Manassas. Mrs. Dorothy Heffelfinger joined the family for dinner on Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. James Beatty and son, Jason, of Point of Woods, Front Royal, and Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughter, Amanda, enjoyed camping Friday though Sunday at Westmoreland State Park. They also toured George Washington’s birthplace, which was featuring children’s day with games of that era and oxen wagon rides. The / group had a picnic on the grounds.
