Gerald Baliles, Democratic nominee for Governor of Virginia, is 'scheduled to visit Rappahannock County Sept. 8.
Baliles will be the featured guest at a picnic lunch at the Sperryville carnival grounds beginning at 1 p.m.
State Sen. Virgil Goode of Rocky Mount is the keynote speaker.
A picnic lunch and drinks will be served.
