The Amissville Ruritan Club will sponsor a one-night performance by the Roberts Bros, circus Sept. 10 on the Amissville Carnival Grounds with shows at 6 and 8 p.m. Come out and enjoy the show.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank McWhirt of Chestnut Hills had as their houseguest for several days Mr. and Mrs. Claude Patenotte, Michael and son Jason, all of Newport News.
Recently Mr. and Mrs. McWhirt attended homecoming at the Berea Baptist Church near Fredericksburg.
