Clyde H. Woodard
Clyde Haywood Woodard, 75, of Amissville, died Monday, June 2, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident at Chester Gap. Mr. Woodard was a native of Rappahannock County, a retired landscaper and a member of Massanova Pentecostal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Susie Brown Woodard; a daughter, Ella Mae Pullen of Amissville; three sons, Clyde R. Woodward, Milton E. Woodard, both of Amissville, and Samuel D. Woodard of Nokesville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Wilbur Woodard and Wesley Woodard, both of Amissville.
A funeral service will be held Friday, June 6, at 2 p.m. at GeestJohnson Funeral Home, Culpeper, with the Rev. L.D. Savage officiating. Interment will follow in the Sperryville Cemetery.
Pall bearers named are Samuel Woodard II, Scott Woodard, Bill Zsambok, Ken Foster, Rick Woodard, and Wayne Woodard.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Geest-Johnson Funeral Home.

Van Richardson
Van Dale Richardson, 68, of Aldie, died June 3 in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
Mr. Richardson was born July 19, 1917, in Grayson County, son of the late Walley Lee and Flora Ingram Richardson. He served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife Polly A. Richardson, a daughter Patricia Wright of Nokesville, two brothers, Omer Richardson of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Ronald Richardson of Albuquerque, N. M., a sister Viola Spencer of Galax, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted June 5 at Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, by Rev. David Webster. Burial will be in Willis Chapel Cemetery.
