Health fair in
Front Royal
Warren Memorial Hospital is sponsoring a Community Health Fair on Saturday, June 7, from noon until 4 p.m. at the Raymond E. Santmyers Youth Center on the Commerce Avenue By-pass.
Free testing includes blood grouping, urine sugar, hearing, pap smear, breast examination, blood pressure, height and weight, respiratory therapy, low back evaluations, glaucoma and visual testing, and oximetry.
Exhibitors will include Poison Control Center, American Red Cross, Front Royal Police Department, Virginia Lung Association, Front Royal Rescue Squad, Warren County Heart Association, Adult Day Care Center, Warren Memorial Hospital Dietary Department and National Zoological Park Conservation and Research Center.
Winners of the poster contest will be announced and the prizes will be awarded. WFTR will be there with their remote broadcasting center. There will be an aerobics demonstration and free balloons for the children.
