Personnel Appointments
On the nomination of Supervisor Lane, the board reappointed Bill Oliver as School Board representative from Stonewall-Hawthome District.
Supervisor Miller’s nomination of John Clark, Jr. as the Planning Commission member from Hampton District was unanimously endorsed. Mr. Miller held that seat until his appointment to the Board of Supervisors following the death of Clarence Baldwin; Mr. Clark will finish Mr. Miller’s unexpired term.
Washington attorney Frank Reynolds was named the county’s representative to the Community Diversion Board which oversees the local Alcohol Safety Awareness Program and the community service alternatives for those convicted of misdemeanor offenses.
The supervisors tabled until their July meeting action on appointments to the Water and Sewer Authority.
