Introduction of the mechanisms of the heart and circulation and its relation to the system as a whole. Class will include basic hemotology, enabling the individual to better understand anemias and other blood disorders.
July 15 — The lymphatic system. Analysis of the immune system and its role in the infectious process. Therapies will be discussed for maintenance and stimulation of our natural offenses and defences. Relationship of this system to earth’s ecology will be explored.
July 22 — The endocrine system. Brief overview of this highly complex system with special attention given to high and low blood sugar, thyroid imbalance, energy and metabolic pathways.
July 29 — Gastro-intestinal system. Overview of entire system with inclusion of important enzymes and their actions. Liver and gall-bladder functions highlighted as well as nutritional therapies.
