Mr. Pullen was bom July 29, 1908, in Rappahannock County, son of the late William P. and Maggie Albert Pullen. He served in the U.S. Army for 22 years and had lived in Florida for many years.
Surviving are three brothers, 01lie C. Pullen, Portsmouth, Anderson Pullen and Dudley Pullen, Front Royal, and a number of nieces and nephews, including Miss Bernice Dodson of Culpeper.
Graveside services were conducted June 4 at Culpeper National Cemetery by Rev. Marvin Cook officiating.
Woodrow Summers
Woodrow Wilson Summers, 71, of Herndon, a retired employee of Asper Plumber Tree Company, died May 21 at the Fairfax Hospital.
Mr. Summers was a member of Bartons Cross Road United Methodist Church, Little Wilson, Va. He was a veteran of Army service in World War II.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Sanders of Gordonsville and Mrs. Susie Etchison of Winston Salem, N. C., a brother Claude S. Summers of Brucetown, and numerous relatives in Rappahannock County.
Funeral services were conducted May 26 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper by the Rev. Gayle Summers. Burial was in Culpeper National Cemetery.
