finished it will be...with or without help!
I’m not naive enough to believe that everyone in school would turn out to build this structure, but I am blockheaded enough to hope that half the families would really put out a healthy effort of sharing their time, &nd skills. If the untapped workforce won’t show up to help build the playground for the only public school in the county, how can you ever expect to accomplish anything that requires “People Power?” Physical effort means public support.
All the teachers, parents, students and interested parties that have put time and money in this project already are truly community conscious in my opinion. And the only thanks they’re likely to get is right here.
Workmen, please come over to the school and help build this playground this weekend, even though it will be an inconvience to make time for it. We all know what it’s like...we’ve been there too! This will be a community project for the school ONLY if the community shows up.
