Miss Lori Mechelle Ritenour of Castleton and Daniel Wayne Peregory of Rixeyville are proud to announce their wedding which took place on Oct. 18,1986, at the Massanova Pentecostal Church.
Rev. L. D. Savage officiated, and Rev. Archie Clatterbuck, grandfather of the bride, performed the double-ring ceremony.
The wedding music was provided by Judy Ashby of Manassas, pianist and vocalist, who sang “There Is Love” and “Each For The Other.” Rev. Fendley of Middletown, uncle of the groom, sang The Lord’s Prayer.
The bride was attired in a gown of taffeta lined with Chantilly lace overlay having a scalloped boat neckline, a fitted bodice accented with pearls and long fitted lace sleeves. The full circular tiered skirt of Chantilly lace swept into a cathedral train.. Ho* veil of Chantilly lace wfs apceqjtflfwithpearla. r She earned a cascade of fthite and peach "tiger lilies, white rosebuds, peach honey-blossom and orange mini-carnations. Lace, minipearls, white and peach ribbons were incorporated into the bouquet.
Wendy Compton of Amissville served as maid of honor and Violet Wood of Manassas, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Martha Hernandez of Castleton, the bride’s sister, Sandra Shenk of Luray, Melissa Peregory of Front Royal, sister of the groom, Dorinda Fendley of Middletown, a cousin of the groom, and Rebekah Powell of Middletown.
Sally Green, cousin of the bride, was miniature bride.
Shirley Mills, the groom’s niece, and JoAnna Whorton, the bride’s cousin, were flower girls.
