With respect to having to wear blaze orange when hunting deer - only 100 square inches of the color need be displayed. If I wore a 2 1/2 inch wide belt around my 42-inch waist, that would comply. Is it worth the effort? Consider alsothe hikers, bird watchers, farmer* and other nonhunters who happen to be in the woods during deer season - have we not put all of them in jeopardy because they’re not required to wear blaze orange?
Have we given hunters a false sense of security by in effect giving them a license to shoot at anything that moves not wearing the color orange?
