Home with Your Baby
When parents take their newborn home, they take special care home with them, too.
By dialing Culpeper Memorial’s MatemaUChikS Health unit at 829-4113, parents have a direct link with the hospital’s nursery staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Parents, especially first-time moms and dads, often need a little help—or reassurance—with newborn babies.
'We get questions on everything about newborn care, from feeding problems to sleeping patterns, ” says Wilma Myers, RN. “If we can’t anser their question here in the nursery, we transfer them to the appropriate person. We make sure they get the help they need."
