Mrs. Judy Deal of Hume hosted a housewarming shower on Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Payne and daughter Julie in Harris Hollow. Approximately 30 friends and relatives attended. Mrs. Deal and Mrs. Payne are sisters. We wish the Paynes much happiness in their new home.

Saturday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark and family were Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Clark of Lebanon Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons had dinner Friday at Dan’s Steak House in Front Royal.
