ville was indicted on a charge of arson, in connection with an incident last Nov. 25, in which fires were allegedly intentionally set in fields near Slate Mills.
Another Sperryville resident, Leroy Thomas Sisk, has already been indicted by another grand jury on charges of felony arson, assault and battery and unlawful use of force to impede a police officer as a result of the same incident.
Because Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke was called out of town unexpectedly, and was not present at Thursday’s grand jury, bond hearings and court dates for the three cases will not be set until March 14.
