Granville Settle
Granville Lee Settle, 75, of Viewtown, died Feb. 29 at the Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Thomas W. and Dora Mozingo Settle. He was a custodian for the Arlington School Board.
He is survived by his wife Elsie Mae Woodard Settle and two sons, Milton William Settle and Ralph Randolph Settle, both of Viewtown.
He was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown, where his funeral service was conducted March 3 by the Rev. Sidney Rodriguez. Interment was at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Thomas H. Tear, Stanley Settle, Graham Hackley, Nelson Burner, Charlie Priest and Wallace Stover.
Mrs. Faulconer
Elizabeth Muntz Faulconer, 87, of Chester Gap, died March 6 in Flint Hill.
Mrs. Faulconer was born June 18, 1900, in New York, the daughter of George and Jennie Rosendorf Muntz. She was a retired secretary with the U.S. government.
Her husband William Ennis Faulconer Jr. predeceased her. She is survived by three sisters, Bertha Muntz and Anna Muntz of Lancaster, Pa., and Frieda Helbock of Santa Barbara, Calif.
Her funeral was conducted March 9 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Irving Johnson. A graveside service was conducted by the Rev.
