An entrances fee of $1 will be collected at the door of the above mentioned locations for persons not holding block tickets.
The block ticket, as well as individually purchased tickets, may be used for entrance to the Landmark Art show which will be in the Front Royal Firehall.
Special entertainment both days at various locations will include a musical entitled “An Evening with Irving Berlin” performed by the Front Royal Little Theater in the Warren County High School, Ted Kreh and the Shenandoah Travelers Bluegrass Band, the Fearless Airborne Conjury (a juggler of chain saws and other delightful amusements), the Rivermont Ramblers Square Dancers, Kevin Owens (local
magician), Whiskey Creek Bluegrass Band, the Skyline Dance Orchestra, and more. There will be plenty of excitement for children on Chester Street as well as at the Firehouse.
But that is not all! Antique cars will be on view at the Village Commons, the 4-H clubs will be demonstrating and making applebutter for sale, the Valley Garden Club will be selling dried flower arrangements and the annual Festival Bake Sale will be sure to sell out early on Saturday morning. Charles Newton will display some of his photographs depicting the history of Warren County and Front Royal. Of course there will be lots of food to enjoy from the various booths in the Morrison School Playground, Williams Chapel C.M.E. Church and the Firehall. On Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. the public is invited to the dedication of the Laura Virginia Hale Archives.
