The Rappahannock County Public Library is one of two dozen libraries nationwide which have been awarded funds to present “Voice and Visions: Reading, Viewing, and Discussion Programs in America’s Libraries.” The 18-month long project is based on the critically acclaimed National Endowment for the Humanities/Annenberg-CPB “Voices and Visions” modern poetry series which recently aired on the Public Broadcasting System.
“I think it’s marvelous,” Librarian Dee Brents said of the announcement, which was made late last week. “The PBS series was a wonderful program and we are really glad to be able to bring it to Rappahannock County.”
