state fair in Richmond was not Scotty’s introduction to livestock. “I’ve been helping my dad since I was two,” he reported. ‘That was the first time I went to the fair.”
He says he likes working with livestock because he likes having animal friends. His best animal friend is his Angus cow. “I just call her Number Two. I like her because she’s the tamest.” Another favorite is the purebred Suffolk ewe he raised who produced the grand champion market lamb.
