humanities scholar, a set of “Voices and Visions” videocassettes from PBS, 30 copies of the poetry anthology used as a companion volume to the TV series, and other information. Three members of each library’s team will also be eligible to attend regional training seminar in late fall.
Poets included in the series are Robert Frost, Hart Crane, Emily Dickinson, William Carlos Williams, Walt Whitman, Langston Hughes, Ezra Pound, T. S. Eliot, Wallace Stevens and Sylvia Plath.
Mrs. Brents said that Grace Sims, who will serve as project director, will represent the library in San Diego in late October, when specific information about the dates of the program will be announced.
