McNears win
varsity letters
Jennifer and Susannah MeNear, who are both students at Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, Pa., were both aw arded letters for their contributions to the school’s field hockey team this fall.
For Jennifer, who is a senior at the preparatory school this year, the letter was her second for field hockey. For her sister Susannah, a sophomore, the letter was her first.
The Mercersburg field hockey team finished the season with a record of three wins, six losses and three ties.
The MeNear sisters are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Richard MeNear of Route 1, Washington.
