Landscape
design school
The Virginia Extension Service, in cooperation with the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs and the Horticulture Department at Virginia Tech, is sponsoring a Landscape Design School, Course II, in Lynchburg from Jan. 23-25.
The course will include classes on the elements and history of landscape design, use of plants in composition, landscaping in the urban setting and the relationship between architecture and landscape design.
The cost for the two-dav course, which will conclude with a written examination on Wednesday, Jan. 25. is $33. Participants may also attend individual lectures at a cost of $9 each.
