• planning time for elementary school teachers, particularly those in the primary grades.
• a second physical education teacher at RCES.
• a seven-period day at the high school.
• scheduling every six weeks of a cultural or current event at RCHS for the entire student body.
• a canopy installed at the elementary school’s modular units and handicap railings around the inside of the school plus a list of maintenance projects for both schools.
She also advised public announcement of the maintenance programs for both schools. If teachers see that their cjassroom is scheduled for painting next year, for instance, “they’ll feel more relaxed, knowing their problems will be attended to,” Mrs. LaCava said.
