Talent show auditions
Auditions for the Annual Rappahannock Talent and Variety Show are being held on two evenings, Wednesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. both evenings. These auditions are in preparation for the Talent Show, which will be held on Saturday, June 30 at the Gay Street Theater. Call the RAAC office (675-3193) if you are interested or need more information. We are looking forward to another lively event this year.
Storyteller here May 5
Utah Philips, master storyteller, humorist and occasional singer will perform at a Saturday, May 5, concert at the Gay Street Theater in Washington. His political satire and keen wit will entertain long after the show is over. Tickets will be available at the usual RAAC outlets or through the RAAC office on Tuesday, April 17. Magic show at Sperryville
A Magic Show will be held at the Sperryville fire hall on Friday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. The second annual show is sponsored by the Sperryville Fire Department and tickets are $2 in advance or $3 at the door and may be purchased from any member. For more information call Greg Way land at 987-8260.
