The Washington Baptist Church will be having their annual Spring Event on Saturday, April 28th. Grandma’s Attic is in need of good saleable items like jewerly, household items, crafts, baby items and things of interest. Please do not bring clothes. If you have clothes to donate leave them at the Thrift Shop next door to the church. If you have any questions about Grandma’s Attic items call Ruth Clark at 675-3608. We will be also be having a bake sale and need some good cakes, pies and etc. please contact Jean Alther 6753844 for bake goods.
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Volunteer Fire Department Thrift Shop is now open every Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Come out and shop with us for some nice bargains.
A tupperware party was held by Beverly Burke at her home on March 20 and was hosted by Mary Finks. David Andrew Burke was honored with a birthday party given by his mother, Beverly Burke at McDonalds in Front Royal on Tuesday night, April 3. He was 5 years old on Wednesday, April 4th. Those attending were Alice Racer, Anna Clatterbuck, Hope Racer, Janet and Jonathan Clatterbuck, Christie and Heather Estep, all of Washington, Danny Huff and Catherine Crawford of Flint Hill, Lisa Streightiff, Jason, Stacy and Matthew of Amissville, Mark and Gary Whorton of Sperryville, Louise Clatterbuck, Emily and Jeremy Henry, Judy and Adam Clatterbuck, and Shelia Winters all of Front Royal. He received many nice gifts.
Miss Hope Racer, daughter of Mrs. Alice Racer of Washington, senior at Rappahannock High School left on Wednesday to go on her Senior Trip to Orlando, Florida. They returned on Sunday morning.
Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Greg Pullen shopped at Winchester and had lunch at Bonanza while there.
Sunday morning visitors of Mrs. Rosie Pullen and Mr. and Mrs. Greg Pullen were Faye Pullen, Kim Dwyer and Jamie. Later Mr. and Mrs. Greg Pullen, Kim Dwyer and Jamie had lunch at Country Cookin in Culpeper.
