courts and its grassy plots, it is a public area for play, picnis, family reunions, school outings and the like.
The message I would like to convey to this woman, and the others like her, is simple. The Recreation Center, though a public place, is a people place, it is not a dog run. If you feel you must use it as a place to “run” your dog, please have the courtesy to bring and use a “pooper scooper.” I take my two-year-old grandson there several times a week to play, and I hate the thought of him (or anyone else) stepping in, slipping, or falling in your dog’s mess.
