Corvin pleaded guilty to three charges of sodomy and a misdemeanor in Rappahannock Circuit Court in October. Those charges also involved a teenage boy.

He was sentenced to four fiveyear terms, with two to run consecutively, for a total of 10 years. Four years of the 10 were suspended on the condition that he complete a fiveyear supervised probation.

Corvin’s court-appointed attorney, Roy D. Bradley of Madison County, was granted a May 30 hearing in Fauquier Circuit Court on a motion to set aside last Friday’s verdict. He told the jury that Corvin’s trial amounted to a “witch hunt.”
