Trees can also be used to Mock out unwelcome views. A row of trees planted between a house and a busy road can block out the Bights and sounds of traffic, making a very efficient barrier and provide a measure of privacy for the home. Not to mention creating a natural habitat for wildlife.
The Culpeper SWCD is currently taking orders for Norway spruce, Scotch pine and white pine seedlings. This service is provided for people who don’t need to plant a forest, but could still use between 25 and a couple of hundred trees.
