Frank Fishback of Amissville has taken his Blue Ridge neighbor attitude far beyond the borders of Rappahannock County.
His spirit has extended beyond this community to Louisa County onward to small communities in Mexico, disaster* striken towns in South Carolina and even to black South Africa.
A handyman by trade, Mr. Fishback uses his natural talents to help those in need. *
Using his own money as well as hinds donated by the Amissville United Methodist Church, Mr. Fishback has taken his talents in roofing and repair, yard work and carpentry to places where indoor plumbing i is a luxury, cars are non-existent and food is cooked on open-air fires and stirred with sticks.
