Family Life Education curriculum was meeting the needs of the students.
“There is evidence that we have a problem,” Mrs. Massie said. “We have to decide what our educational role should be. We would be more comfortable if the families were taking care of this, but it is not happening.”
Superintendent David Gangel said he had conducted a study that seems to indicate the teachers are covering the areas of the Family Life Curriculum they are assigned to teach.
“We have to question whether the children are maturing faster than we thought,” Mrs. Massie said.
