To the Editor:
As the Southern Page subcommittee of the Bluemont Page board of directors, we are unanimously recommending that the sixth Bluemont concert on Sept. 1 (the Caribbean Steel Band) to be held at the Inn Lawn Park in Luray.
We are the core committee responsible for the volunteers and planning for this concert. We made this decision after much consideration of the strong advantage at present of the Inn Lawn Park as a cultural, convenient, accessible location that is both practical and easy to administer for an outdoor concert.
We are comfortable that with our school and outreach programs, Bluemont does serve all of Page County well. We would like to encourage Bluemont to present programs in other Page communities throughout the year.
To this end, we welcome anyone interested in bringing Bluemont programs into their community to contact anyone of us listed here.
