For homeowners or prospective homeowners, Steve Ellis and Peter Snyder are in the business of making anything possible.
From the individual who has a unique idea about what kind of fireplace he wants in his family room to the creative soul yearning to build that “special home of his dreams,” Mr. Ellis and Mr. Snyder can accommodate and, they say, maybe even improve on the idea.
Years of building experience Characterize both these men who have recently moved their buisness, Pageland Homes Corp., from New Baltimore to the Main Street of Washington, Va. i Mr. Ellis is a longtime resident of j&missville and Mr. Snyder has recently moved to Rappahannock from the Warrenton area.
Originally lodged at Hunter Center in New Baltimore, an office building built and owned by Mr. Snyder, Pageland moved to Rappahannock six weeks ago. The business, which as survived a recession that has closed down more than half of their competitors in the Fauquier area, has undergone, dramatic changes.
From building primarily speculative homes for several years, the two men moved into custom work when that particular market took hard hits from what many describe as a “Depression” in the building industry.
Today, Mr. Ellis and Mr. Snyder have capitalized on their considerable talents and years of experience. Mr. Ellis, who designs as well as builds homes, can work with clients from the earliest conception aspect of their building plans. From custom home building and additions to remodeling, renovations and reconstructions, Pageland, say its owners, has the expertise to tackle any job.
