Make plans now to attend the annual Flint Hill Firemen’s carnival to! be held July 29, 30, 31 and Aug. LThe rides on Wednesday will be one; low price, Thursday will feature the grand parade and boxed dinners, Friday a band will have two performances and on Saturday evening the awarding of the 1992 Ford Festiva, purebred black Angus heifer, Redskin tickets, dinner for two at Four and Twenty Blackbirds, Jim Beam decanter pumper truck, a hutch, afghan quilt and a painting. The Ladies Auxiliary will be chancing off a china doll.

Young ladies will be selling tickets for Little Miss and Miss Carnival Queen. So get your tickets and support your local firemen. The Ladies Auxiliary will have baked goods at the bake stand every night.

The United Methodist Women met on Monday evening with Thelma Crane.

Those present were Mary Frances Bywaters, Alice Pullen, Arland Welch, Gaynelle Russell, Mary Curtis, Evelyn Walker, Louise McCulloch, Artis East, Libby Wharton, Mabel Lillard and Mary Brady.
