Alter much discussion and an intense perusal of resumes, Calvin Hobbs Luther, known to friends as “Calvin,” has officially been named “Court House Cat.”
Calvin fills the position left vacant when Jurisprudence, the former Court House Cat, died unexpectedly several weeks ago after a short illness.
Formerly owned by Jeanne Drevas and Carl Aplin of Sperryville, Calvin comes to the job with unusual qualifications.
Of international descent, Calvin joined Ms. Drevas and Mr. Aplin in Geneva, Switzerland when he took up residence in their chalet. The location proved to be a perfect launching pad for Calvin’s diplomatic career.
