Un May 4, 1992, Commonwealth Gas Services, Inc. (“Services” or “the Company") filed a general rate application to increase its rates and revise its tariffs with the Slate Corporation Commission (“Commission"). In its application, among other things. Services advised that its increase in rates was dcsinged to develop annual jurisdictional operating revenues of $143.7 million. It staled that in its April, 1991 exedited rate application. Case No. PUE910029, it placed in effect interim rates reflecting an increase in total revenues of approximately $3.3 million. However, as a result of its participation in a Stipulation in Case No. PUE910029, Services was recommending that the Commission approve additional annual operating revenues of $2,145,904. Services’ May 4, 1992 application in Case No. PUE920037 states that the Company is requesting an increase in additional gross annual revenues of $8,898,579 in Case No. PUE920037 if its proposed rales in Case No. PUE910029 become effective, or in the alternative, an increase in additional gross annual revenues of approximately $10,000,000, if the proposed increase in operating revenues stipulated to by Services in Case No. PUE910029 were made permanent by the Commission. The Company supported its request for a rate increase with adjusted financial and operating data for the twelve months ended December 31, 1991.
