Leonard Pullen Sr.

Leonard Earl Pullen Sr., 69, of Rixeyville, died Sunday, July 19 at his residence.

Mr. Pullen was born in Rappahannock County on May 23,1923.

He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church and a farmer.

Mr. Pullen is survived by his mother Agnes V. Pullen of Culpeper; his wife, Eva Mae Pullen of Rixeyville; two sons, Leonard E. Pullen Jr. of Culpeper and "Larry Pullen of Rixeyville and two daughters, Judy L. Dodson of Reva and Lori Pullen of Fredericksburg. He is also survived by two brothers, Ellis E. Pullen of Atlanta, Ga. and Ralph E. Pullen of Culpeper and a sister, Grace Hawkins of Culpeper. Additional survivors include two granddaughters, Jamie M. Dodson and Jodie Lynn Dodson, both of Reva.

Mr. Pullen was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Marion Pullen; a sister, Irene Clark and two grandchildren, Brian David and Jennifer Marie Dodson.

Funeral services were held at Found and Sons chapel on Wednesday, July 22 with Rev. R. Mark Jarvis officiating. Interment was in Washington Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Donnie Hawkins, R.C. Pullen, Collis Fincham, Sammy Hartley, Pete Garnett, Lewis Hawkins, Johnny Anderson and William Flippo.
