The eighth-grade Panthers are helping to keep Coach Gary Leake on an even keel. — The team is 4-3 so far this season, but the three losses have all come against junior high schools with a minimum of four ninth graders on their teams. Against other eighth grade teams the Panthers are undefeated.
With a team made up of 11 eighth graders and four seventh graders, coach Leake is proud of the way the "team has played. “Hustle and enthusiasm on both offense and defense: Ifchose are our two strengths,” he said. UK
