People kept asking me, Tucker, if I was nervous, and I’d say no. The whole time we were waiting, we spent so much time listening for important instructions and doing so many things, we didn’t have time to get nervous.
I’m sure there was a small amount of pressure, but 1 didn’t notice it. Even as we entered the Concert Hall and 1 saw all the people in the audience, I didn’t think how nervous I would be, but how much fun this had been so far.
We made our way onto the stage and got in our places. I was breaking a little bit of a sweat. Bill Clinton came on stage and was standing about 10 feet away from me.
After the show, we made it backstage and watched the rest of the show. Being backstage with all those celebrities was really the thrill of the whole show. And to think, I was talking to Clarence Clemons.
I think the importance of the show didn’t hit me until it was actually over and. I saw it on tape. Also when everyone I met asked me all sorts of questions about it, it made me feel even more like part of the show. *
All in all, this was a very exciting experience for me, and I’d like to do »something like it again. I don’t thinji this will be a once in a lifetime thing:
