The Administrative Board of the Sperryville United Methodist met Monday night at the home of Mrs. Catherine Brown.

Those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers, Julian Brown, Hugh Chrisman and daughter Alice, Mrs. Emma Swindler, Mrs. Polly Aylor and Mrs. Margaret Ann Wayland.

Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers of Stephens City were Sunday guests in the Ranny Aylor home.

On Sunday Mrs. T.M. Johnston, Mrs. Robert McCarty of Front Royal and Mrs. Andrew Reams of Winchester attended the musical “The All Night Strut” presented by the Shenandoah Music Theater in Winchester.

Mrs. Ethel Jenkins of Arocla was ^/Tuesday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. Jackie Baldwin and David.

Mr. and Mrs. Jon Heddleston and family and Mrs. Anna Fincham attended church services at Novum Baptist Church in Reva on Sunday where Mr. Heddleston preached the morning service. They later had lunch at The Pig and Steak House in Madison.

The Sperryville Business Council met on Sunday evening at the Sperryville Emporium. The new brochures and upcoming festivals were discussed. Business people that are interested in the brochure should contact Jimmy Swindler at 987-8761 or Barbara Wayland at 675-3338, days.
