Tuesday’s purchase underscores the growing dominance of Times Community Newspaper and ArCom as the leading newspaper publisher in Northern Virginia, Mr. Grubisich said. “We now have a solid swath of newspapers extending from the Potorpac River south to the Occoquan River and west into the Piedmont.”
In Fairfax County, Times Community Newspapers publishes the Reston Times, the Herndon Times, the Centreville Times, the Chantilly Times, the Vienna Times, the Burke Times, the Fairfax Times, the Fairfax Station Times and the Springfield Times Courier.
ArCom’s corporate headquarters is located south of Herndon. It also publishes the Loudoun Times-Mirror, the Eastern Loudoun Times, the Fauquier Times-Democrat, and the Clarke Courier as well as the Rappahannock News.
