The library will be hosting another Internet meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 in the program room. All are invited to attend.
Mike Platko from SMA will be the speaker. He will discuss the Internet, answer questions and give a guided field trip of the Internet. Even if you came to the last meeting it will be worthwhile to come to this one since new questions always come up. If a group would like to meet regularly as an Internet or computer user group please contact the librarian for information about the community room.
The library has an additional phone line for internet access and will be following the schedule of times available for Internet usage. Patrons who want to use the library computer to access the Internet should call the library to make arrangements. The Rappahannock County Library is one of the few public libraries in Virginia to have access to the Internet for patrons. Take advantage of this. Come to the meeting for more information.
The computer with CD-ROM that the Friends of the Library purchased is available for patron usage. At this time the only software available is the Encarta Encyclopedia.
