Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughters, Amanda and Bobbie Jo and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons visited Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls, Samantha and Robert in Woodville where they enjoyed fishing in the Falls pond. Bobbie Jo caught a five pound bass and plans on getting it mounted.
Mrs. Judy Davis of Winchester was a Saturday overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richardson.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark were Sunday afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Frazier and Mrs. Ollie Vann in Castleton.
Our sincere condolences to the family of Mr. Maurice O’Bannon of Woodville. Mr. O’Bannon passed away on Saturday at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond. He was owner of the Sperryvilie Emporium and a kind and generous man. He will be greatly missed by his family and the people of Rappahannock County.
Happy birthday to Mrs. Tansy Frazier on Castleton who has a birthday on Thursday, Sept. 7 and also Mrs. Barbara Slack of Baltimore, Md. who will celebrate her day on Wednesday, Sept. 13.
