will be at RCF.S for the U6, U8 and UlO teams. U12 and U14 will play home games at RCHS. The season begins this Saturday.
Additionally, this season is the first time that Rappahannock will field an all girls soccer team. The U12 team is coached by Maggie Rogers who is very pleased with the number of girls interested in playing. “Right now we have 20 players on the roster. Approximately one-half of them have had prior soccer experience in a co-ed league, so we’re working with different skill levels. However, they all seem to be fairly athletic....Plus they are very happy to have the opportunity to play with girls against other girls.”
The U12 girls’ team will play all of its games at Saint Luke’s in Culpeper and Vint Hill Farm Station in Fauquier. Their season begins Sept. 23.
