Fundraising Auction Planned

The Page Pregnancy Assistance Center, a Christian, non-profit, nonmedical pregnancy care center will be having their seventh annual Fundraising Auction and chicken BarB-Q at the Page Valley Fairgrounds in Luray on Saturday, Sept. 9 rain or shine, starting at 9 a.m. The auction will feature a huge selection of used and new items including a 1980 4 door Chevy Chevette and a 1984 Oldsmobile 2 door hardtop. Doc Scantlin Headlines Fundraiser

Doc Scantlin and his Imperial Palms Orchestra will entertain at “Evening Under the Stars” on Sept. 16 in Old Town Warrenton. The award winning event benefits the Partnership for Warrenton Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the economic and aesthetic development of Old Town Warrenton. Area residents will provide beverages and cuisine. Tickets are $25 in advance (Sept. II) and $30 at the door. Tickets are available from The Stable Door, Farrar’s, The Town Duck and Christine Fox.
