One hundred forty-five Rappahannock County kids between the ages of 5 and 14 are ready to have a ball. Literally. The Rappahannock Soccer League kicks off its fall season this weekend with more teams than ever before.
The League’s Commissioner, Bob Lucking, has been busily adding teams to meet the eager demand. “We’ve had an outstahding turnout. We have teams for kids under 6 (U6), U8, U10, U12, and U14. At this point, I’ve had to divide the U8s twice, first into two teams and now into three teams. This is all very promising for the future of soccer in Rappahannock County.”
All Rappahannock teams will play teams from Culpeper and Fauquier Counties. Home games
