He is still assessing damage around the county, but estimates damage in Old Hollow to be $40,000, which includes damage to pavement and culverts. Old Hollow was not hit any harder than it has been in the past, he said. Bean Hollow, which was one of the hardest hit in June, 1995, did not have much damage this time, said Mr. Marshall.
A lot of expense will go to cleaning up debris arbund culverts and bridges, said Mr. Marshall, and he hopes that residents will be patient.
