Central Telephone Company of Virginia (“Center) has filed a Motion with . the Virginia State Corporation Commission (“SCC”) pursuant to paragraph 20 of the SCC's Experimental Plan for Alternative Regulation of Virginia Telephone Companies (“Plan") seeking to have its rates made permanent for the year 1993.
The Plan made the rates of Cental interim for the year 1993 and subject to refund if Centers return on equity for that year should exceed 14 percent. The SCC Staff has filed an Annual Information Filing Report (“AIF Report") indicating that Centers return on equity for 1993 was 3.32 percent. Any person desiring to comment upon Cental's Motion to Make its Rates Permanent for 1993 or to request a hearing thereon may do so by filing such comments or requests for hearing with the Clerk of the Commission, William J.
